Dr. Williams’ medical practice is devoted exclusively to hair restoration. His experienced staff prepares all the 1, 2, 3 and 4 hair follicular unit grafts using microscopes. Dr. Williams creates all the incisions for these refined grafts using very tiny custom cut blades. These small incisions are made in the areas where the grafts are to be placed called the recipient areas. By carefully controlling the angle, direction and depth of these incisions, he creates a very natural and undetectable result.
The special instruments Dr. Williams uses create tiny and minimally invasive incisions that enable very small grafts to be placed close together. This enables his patients to achieve improved density in a given area after only one procedure. The patient can begin washing their hair the day after the procedure and can resume normal activities after a few days. Overall, about 90% of his patients have a satisfactory result after only one procedure due to his advanced techniques.
Dr. Williams performs all consultations personally. As a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, Dr. Williams has been introduced to and adopted many advanced hair restoration techniques that are currently producing outstanding results, including the lateral slit technique.
His patients appreciate his "patient first" approach and hands on care, which sets him apart from the national groups. Dr. Williams began practicing medicine in 1984 and is a board certified surgeon.
A native of North Carolina, he attended undergraduate school at East Carolina University and medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Williams is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
